I am a retired police dog sergeant with around 25 years experience of both handling dogs and instructing dog/handler teams in the disciplines of General Purpose, Drugs/Cash/Firearms and Explosive Detection. I have worked in Greater Manchester and the Isle of Man Constabularies.
I am a UK Home Office accredited instructor and have held this accreditation since 2003. I gained accreditation in Lancashire and South Wales but have additionally worked closely with Cumbria Constabulary over a number of years.
As part of the IOM Police Dog Unit, I was recognised for teamwork, receiving internal awards and was nominated for the Isle of Man Newspapers Award for Excellence.
I was awarded the PTLLS teaching qualification following study at the Isle of Man College.
